By Michelle Froese | February 28, 2022

CMF products, which are used in several industries including for agricultural, construction, and off-highway equipment, make the company an ideal fit for Agrisolutions.

Agrisolutions, a global manufacturer for farm-equipment manufacturers and after-market suppliers, has acquired Chicago Fastener Manufacturing (CMF).

CFM has been a 100% American-made manufacturer of cold-headed metal fasteners for more than 35 years at a production facility near Chicago, in in University Park, Illinois.

“We are excited to welcome Chicago Fastener Manufacturing into the Agrisolutions’ family,” said Agrisolutions’ global president, Blair Cook. “CFM’s capabilities and talented group of employees will add manufacturing capacity to help us better serve our customers in the U.S.”

With a range of product lines — which include structural, carriage, wheel, plow, and square-head machine bolts, as well as hex heads and per-print specials — CFM fasteners are used in applications that range from agriculture planting, harvesting, and soil management to construction, mining, and for railroad equipment.
