No More Loose Screws increases friction, letting users easily drive a screw into a threaded hole without fail.
An InventHelp developer has created a new fastener accessory for threaded holes, called No More Loose Screws. The invention provides an effective way to secure loose screws in wood with applications such as cabinets, door hinges, and strike plates. In doing so, it eliminates the spinning issues associated with damaged threads.
“I’m a contractor and I wanted to create a new fastener accessory that can be used when re-inserting a screw in a damaged threaded hole,” said the developer from Milltown, New Jersey. “So, I invented No More Loose Screws. My design increases friction, allowing [users] to effortlessly drive the screw into the threaded hole.”
No More Loose Screws increases efficiency and eliminates the need to re-drill and re-thread a hole. The invention features a practical design that’s easy to install and use, so it’s ideal for contractors and do-it-yourselfers.
