The Fastener Training Institute (FTI), a registered, non-profit organization that provides all levels of product and technical training for the fastener industry, is continuing to provide ongoing education through online programs and webinars at this time.
What’s more: discounts will be provided to support the fastener industry during this global COVID-19 pandemic.
For example, FTI is offering on-demand training videos, which are available in the Online Learning Library. The non-profit training institute is also discounting the price of all annual subscription packages by $500.
Additionally, two upcoming FTI webinars are scheduled, including:
1. “Grades 2, 5, and 8 Bolts and Nuts” live webinar on APRIL 17th. SAE J429 and SAE J995 are two of the most important inch fastener standards in the industry. In this webinar, attendees will learn:
● Some important recent history regarding these standards
● How to read the tables like an engineer
● What engineers who use these fasteners need to know
● What manufacturers who make these fasteners must know
● What suppliers and importers of these fasteners must know
● What are the limitations on use for these standards
● What Testing Laboratories find out when they test these fasteners
