Hilti’s new EXO-S is a wearable construction exoskeleton that helps relieve shoulder and neck fatigue when working above shoulder level.
Hilti Group, a global provider of tools, technology, software, and services to the commercial construction industry, has introduced the new EXO-S Shoulder Exoskeleton — a wearable construction device designed to help relieve shoulder and neck fatigue when working overhead by lowering physical strain.
The EXO-S Shoulder Exoskeleton is ideal for continuous or repetitive overhead tasks, with or without using tools. This includes fastening track to ceilings and walls, taping, or screwing on boards or finishing on walls and ceilings. It’s also useful for any other overhead installations, including pipes, air ducts, conduits, cable trays, or channels.
Weighing just five pounds, the EXO-S is currently one of the lightest shoulder exoskeletons available. It is suitable for all-day use, providing freedom of movement and it’s customizable. Neck support can be added for extra relief during the most demanding overhead tasks.
The EXO-S Shoulder Exoskeleton is intended to make job sites safer. It’s designed to contribute to workforce well-being by helping cut down on sick leave caused by physically demanding work.
