The new ClearLight 2.0 lens technology offers advanced, high-definition optics that provide a clearer and brighter view before, during, and after every weld.
Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, a global manufacturer of Miller brand arc-welding equipment, is introducing ClearLight 2.0 enhanced lens technology for its Digital Performance, Digital Elite, Digital Infinity, and T94 Series of welding helmets.
Designed to improve the enhanced visibility in light and welding states, which was introduced with the original ClearLight Lens Technology, ClearLight 2.0 creates a clearer, brighter, and more realistic view so the welder can see the details like never before.
Unlike traditional lenses that produce an artificial blue or yellow tint, ClearLight 2.0 allows more natural and accurate color tones to come through the lens for a crisp, high-definition view of the workpiece.
The upgraded 2.0 version also has a 1/1/1/2 optical clarity rating that allows welders to keep their hoods down between welds and non-welding tasks within arm’s reach of the workpiece, improving safety and productivity. However, the entry-level Classic Series welding helmets will continue to be offered with ClearLight Lens Technology.
