NBK, an advanced component manufacturer, has begun the new year with the launch of new fastening products.
This week, the company introduced its Hexalobular Socket Head Cap Bits (SRXB), with pin, for tamper-resistant screws. These components include a short bit with a hexalobular socket that has a pin at the center.
For ideal torque management of tamper-resistant screws, it’s possible to use these bits in combination with a torque screwdriver or torque wrench.

For example, consider NBK’s dedicated magnetic screwdriver and commercial bit-interchangeable screwdrivers. Or, if used in combination with a tool that has a deep bit insertion depth, instead use the SKABA Adapter for Short Bit.
NBK has also launched new Hex Socket Head Cap Bits (SRHB) with pin. These components include a short bit that’s also for tamper-resistant screws with a pin at the hex socket center. For ideal use, employ the Bits in combination with the dedicated magnetic screwdriver and commercial bit-interchangeable screwdrivers.
