Torque is the essential part of the security of a security fastener. This means that the more weight a screw holds, the more secure it should be and the more pressure will be required to remove it.
However, if there is not enough tension when installing security screws, there can be a problem.
Although rare, fasteners can sometimes have an issue with getting breached. According to Bryce Security Fastener, the biggest reasons why a breach occurs relates to torque. Why? Well, either the fastener was not torqued tight enough or it was installed into the wrong substructure.
