vTilt VESA Monitor Mount from Reell Precision Manufacturing

By Patrick Curran | June 27, 2013

The new “vTilt VESA Monitor Mount” from Reell Precision Manufacturing introduces an ideally engineered solution enabling precise positioning and easy adjustment of flat-panel monitors, TVs, and other displays. Patented ReellTorq® clip technology adds value by ensuring a premium quality feel and smooth control with “zero freeplay.”

The vTilt Mount delivers constant torque throughout its full 160° range of vertical motion. Torque symmetry options include differential (torques from 26.6 lb-in to 53.1 lb-in / 3.0 N•m to 6.0 N•m) and patent pending “One-Way” technology (torques from 44.2 lb-in to 70.8 lb-in / 5.0 N•m to 8.0 N•m) offering high holding force and easy upward movement with virtually no resistance.

vTilt

The mounts attach simply and directly to the 75mm or 100mm mounting holes of standard VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) compliant monitors using four M4 screws. Their design is compact (5 cm deep) and features a durable glass-filled nylon housing for effective sealing of all internal components and lubricant. Durable zinc die cast internal housings and bushings combined with hardened steel shaft and torque elements contribute to longevity in service.

The mounts can accommodate monitors up to 25 lbs., satisfy UL 1678 requirements, and perform with a qualified service life of more than 20,000 cycles to provide reliable and consistent functionality over time.
