TimberTech, a global brand for sustainable, premium decking and outdoor-living products, recently announced a new lineup of products, available January 2022. The offerings include new on-trend composite deck-board colors and a hidden fastener system to reduce installation time.

Hidden fasteners secure deck boards from the sides or below, without visibility. The new EDGELoc system ensures a fastener-free finished look.
The fasteners you choose for your deck project do more than affect how you’ll install your decking; they’ll also affect the overall look and feel of your outdoor living space. If you’re looking for a clean finish for your deck surface, hidden deck fasteners are the way to go.
Hidden fasteners secure your deck boards from the sides and/or below, without being visible on the top surface of the deck.
EDGELoc is a new, hidden fastener system for TimberTech EDGE Grooved Deck Boards. This low-cost system is specifically designed to permanently attach decking boards together in a side-by-side orientation, consisting primarily of non-metal fasteners. It consists of a collated strip of glass fiber reinforced nylon clips, and each clip has a small, pre-set screw.
Efficient and aesthetic, EDGELoc is easy to use, reduces installation time, and results in a smooth, fastener-free finished surface.
“As demand for outdoor living spaces increases, homeowners continue to request design-forward decks that reflect their personal style,” said Jesse Singh, CEO of The AZEK Company, whereby TimbeTech is a business division. “These new product extensions enable us to build on our commitment to deliver beautiful, sustainable, and low maintenance decking — while providing more options to meet the latest home-design trends.”
Overall, hidden fasteners:
✓ Provide a polished finish, thanks to a fastener-free surface
✓ Ensure there are no exposed nails to accidentally step or trip on, as is common with wood
✓ Offer secure holding power for lasting performance.
TimberTech is also adding to its Landmark Collection, which recently won the Vinyl Sustainability Council’s inaugural Design for Reuse award because the product itself is made from approximately 50% recycled material and is recyclable at the end of its useful life.
