J.W. Winco, Inc. announced it now offers series GN 581.5 Stainless Steel Safety Swivel Lifting Eye Bolts.
These RoHS compliant lifting eye bolts come in metric sizes. The ring and threaded socket head bolt are stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4462, 100% electro magnetic tensile, tested to EN 1677.
The eye bolts offer a high load carrying capacity and are tested to meet high safety standards, permitting the use of smaller mounting bolts than required for DIN 580 lifting eye bolts. Unlike DIN 580, they are mounted in a bearing and can be rotated. The ring can be positioned in the direction of the load to make use of its optimum strength.
