Springs Give You Many Options

By Design World Staff | September 17, 2010

Custom “machined” springs let you integrate multiple features into one piece. These unique springs can be designed specifically to address requirements for rate, reactions at desired deflections, combined rates, modal properties, weight and inertial limits. You can specify end attachments such as tangs, clamps, flanges, or threaded ends can be integrated into the single multi-functional component. More than one spring coil set (multiple starts) can be designed into a given part to provide a range of spring rates and functions within a given size.
