Minneapolis, MN — FasTest announced the ReConnect Connector Refurbishment Program for the TwistMate® family of connectors, FasTest External (FE) and FasTest Internal (FI) series connectors. FasTest connectors provide simple, reliable and repeatable seals without the use of thread sealant or torque applied with wrenches. With the new program, customers can return outdated, worn or otherwise damaged connectors—both FasTest connectors and competitors’ models—and receive a 30 percent discount on a new FasTest connector of the same or an equivalent model. Customers should consult www.fastestinc.com/reconnect or FasTest for details on trading in other FasTest connectors or non-FasTest models. Legacy connectors can be exchanged for newer, comparable models, and the ReConnect program can be utilized multiple times by customers. All connectors returned to customers include a standard 12-month full warranty.
The TwistMate line of connectors features a patented pressure-assisted, grip-and-seal technology to easily and quickly provide leak-tight connections. TwistMate connectors were recently upgraded to durable stainless steel construction, providing long-lasting and reliable use—even in corrosive environments. Connectors are pressure rated up to 10,000 psi and available in a wide range of thread profiles.
FE and FI connectors also provide fast, leak-tight seals with no thread damage, wrenches or pipe sealant. The FE series is designed to seal conventional and non-standard surfaces and connect to any tube or pipe, smooth or threaded. Compressed air activates the seals for a full-flow test to 500 psi with air, gas or liquid. FI series connectors are designed for pressure and vacuum testing, fluid filling and flushing applications. The connectors are also activated by compressed air, and testing, filling or flushing of the piece is accomplished by introducing air, liquid or gas media through the FasTest FI connector. The FI series now provides a stroke limiter feature and improved retainer clip design to deliver increased reliability and safety.
