Ramco Specialties, Inc., a provider and producer of critical components, recently announced that it has invested in new part formers in Ohio, which will allow the company to begin producing cold-formed pipe nuts.
Pipe nuts are important parts of automotive construction, particularly in engine cradles, frames, rails and chassis. The new cold-formed pipe nuts will be available with both open and closed ends, up to nine inches long, and three inches
in diameter.
In January, Ramco announced the expansion of its Ohio-based headquarters by 50,000 square feet, making plenty of space for new equipment. The final construction is expected to be completed in June 2022.
With current lead times for machines and materials, Ramco suggests discussing requirements for pipe nuts, or other large part production, sooner rather than later.
