Orbitform, which delivers right fastening, forming, and assembly solution for manufacturers has acquired C & B Machinery, along with a group of investors. Although C & B, which is based in Brighton, Michigan, will remain a separate entity with its own staff and facility, Orbitform will work with and support its highly skilled team.
“We intend to carry on the heritage that C & B Machinery established over the last 40 years,” said Orbitform’s president, Phil Sponsler. “We look forward to working with the existing, highly skilled C & B team to grow the business.”
C & B Machinery provides world-class precision disc-grinding and metal removal equipment solutions. They are well known for their double-disc grinding equipment, which is an efficient method of removing equal stock from opposing faces of a part.
Each piece of equipment is built on a reliable cast-iron machine base. This creates a static stiffness that increases the integrity of the machine and stabilizes the removal process.
C & B Machinery has supported numerous industries, including automotive, aerospace, and hand tools. They also offer new and re-engineered disc-grinding and metal removal equipment. Their re-engineered machines include used equipment that’s retrofitted with the newest mechanical and control standards — rebuilt after a complete inspection to like-new condition.
