Most recently, HYTROC has launched a new socket coating, ECO LINE, developed with the aim to ensure sustainability through an environmentally friendly manufacturing process. Previously, black oxide has been the most common coating used on impact sockets because paint and chromium are not approved by ISO standards. Years of research and testing have provided that ECO LINE, with its light silver hue, meets or exceeds all the performance characteristics of previous products.
An added benefit of ECO LINE is an improved observation of the socket rotation and code stamping when used by the operator in cramped and poorly lit surroundings.
