Master Bond, a manufacturer of epoxy adhesives, sealants, coatings, has released a new demonstration video using a fast-curing epoxy compound — EP65HT-1. This epoxy is used to show how a fast-curing compound can set-up quickly and easily at room temperature.
Master Bond’s EP65HT-1 is a two-component epoxy system, featuring a combination of extremely fast set-up times and high temperature resistance. It’s formulated to speed up assembly operations.
This product provides a glass-transition temperature over 125º C, a high tensile shear strength (tensile shear strength >2500 psi), excellent chemical resistance, and is NASA low outgassing approved.
Fast-curing epoxies are designed to increase productivity, save energy, and speed assembly operations. In this video, a dispensing gun with a pre-measured weight ratio (of 10-to-1) mixes Part A and Part B of this two-component system.
EP65HT-1 features
- Convenient handling, gun dispensable
- Cures rapidly even in small masses
- Meets NASA low outgassing specifications
- Withstands 1,000 hours 85°C/85% RH
