Hercules Bolt was the sole supplier of anchor bolts to the Hudson Yards Project, the largest development in the U.S. to date.
Hercules Bolt & MFG, a manufacturer and distributor of heavy fasteners and customized components for fabricators and contractors, announced that it has received the Veteran-owned Small Business status from the Federal Government.
The company earned this status, thanks to its founder and owner, Lt. Edward Jackson III.
Jackson, who serves as the president of Hercules Bolt, is a graduate of the University of Alabama and a retired Lt. Colonel in the Air Guard. He has 22 years of service flying the C-130 aircraft in which he served in Dessert Shield and Operation Enduring Freedom.
“We’re proud to be a veteran-owned company,” says Michael Musselwhite, GM at Hercules Bolt. “The C-130 is also known as the Hercules, which is where we get our name for the company. Our founder, Lt Colonel Edward Jackson flew the C-130s in Dessert Shield.”
Since 1998, Hercules Bolt has been a manufacturer and distributor of heavy fasteners and customized products for fabricators and contractors. The company specializes in the manufacture of structural anchor bolts, sag rods, swedge bolts, embeds, and square steel washers.
The company works with A36, F1554-55, F1554-B7/105, 354BD, and domestic stainless steel. Its scope of material includes 1/2” to 4-1/2” diameter steel, mostly roll thread, but also cut thread (larger diameters are always cut thread). Hercules Bolt also offers A325/A490/TC bolts.
