Crescent Tools unveils new industrial fastener line

By Michelle Froese | November 13, 2019

Over the past two years, Crescent has added five category-leading brands under its umbrella. This year, a sixth will join the family.

The Crescent APEX u-GUARD non-marring, industrial u-series of tools are designed to provide user protection and control on the job.

Crescent recently announced the addition Crescent APEX Industrial Fasteners to its product brands, bolstering its already substantial catalog. According to the company, Crescent APEX delivers best-in-class power tool accessories, such as insert bits, power bits, bit holders, sockets, and nutsetters.

Additionally, the  new Crescent APEX brand will offer innovative power-tool accessories used by industrial and construction tradespeople, including the professional line of u-GUARD, non-marring covered tools.

“The APEX brand’s legacy as a category leader in fastening is at the core of this decision,” said Griffin Biering, global marketing director at Apex Tool Group. “The fastening innovation we’ve spearheaded in the assembly manufacturing space is carrying into the construction market. With Crescent’s deep connection to professional tradespeople, we are combining our efforts and delivering superior power tool accessories from a brand they trust.”

The collection of new products from Crescent Tools was on display at the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA) trade show in Nashville earlier this month.

“The STAFDA show really puts into perspective the growth and evolution of the Crescent brand, and it all hinges on the quality of the tools we’re putting out there,” said Curt Weber, senior director of Brand Management for Apex Tool Group. “Crescent is more diverse than ever, but it’s rooted in the heritage of innovation that makes us trusted by the trades.”

Crescent is a brand from Apex Tool Group, one of the largest hand tool manufacturers in the world. The product line includes Crescent adjustable wrenches, mechanics hand tools and sets, Crescent Wiss snips, scissors, shears, knives and trade tools, and more
