Bron relaunches its highly adhesive, double-sided tape

By Michelle Froese | June 7, 2021

Ideal for attaching, bonding, laminating, and mounting applications, Killer Red tape forms a permanent bond on most surfaces. Watch a fun demo video here.

Bron Tapes, Inc. is relaunching its Killer Red, with the tagline: “The World’s Greatest Double-sided Tape.”

First debuted in 2016 as a competitive solution in the double-sided tape market, Killer Red features a unique adhesive system that bonds to critical substrates and offers an extremely high adhesion — even on low-surface energy (LSE) areas.

The strength of attraction is depends on the surface energy of the substrate, which is why LSE surfaces can be a challenge. This is not the case for Killer Red tape.

The product is also plasticizer, UV, water, and weather-resistant. It’s exceptionally versatile and effective in a wide range of applications, including attaching and bonding, indoor and outdoor mounting, weatherproofing, and more.

“There are a lot of options in the double sided tape market, but there is a certain level of confidence when choosing Killer Red over a competitive product,” said Mike Shand, company CEO. “It’s an extremely versatile and easy to handle tape, which makes it attractive for a number of bonding and mounting applications.”

Features include:

  • Clear tape with red liner
  • Easy to apply
  • High bond to critical substrates
  • High-temperature resistance
  • High adhesion, even to LSE surfaces
  • Plasticizer, UV, water, and weather-resistant
