Birmingham Fastener, a manufacturer and distributor of fasteners for structural steel fabrication, metal building manufacturers, construction, utilities, OEMs, and more, has added to its team.
The company recently announced that James Ward has joined Birmingham Fastener as its Environmental Health and Safety Director, offering a wealth of experience. Ward will be responsible for ensuring facility and worker safety and compliancy as part of his new role.
“As a growing leader in the industry, we pride ourselves on the safety of our team and our facilities, and James will be leading the charge of innovating our safety program in our manufacturing and distribution facilities,” says a recent statement from the company.
Birmingham Fastener is currently the largest distributor of A325 and A490 structural bolts in the U.S., as well as one of the world’s largest manufacturers of T-head bolts. It is also a provider of vendor managed inventory (VMI) services.
