Because it Works: Flex Seal launches new product tagline

By Michelle Froese | July 18, 2022

Learn more about the Flex Seal line of waterproof adhesive products in this video.

The Flex Seal Family of Products, a globally recognized brand known for its waterproof sealants and adhesives, announces its new tagline, “Because it Works.”

“After hearing countless success stories over the years about how well Flex Seal Products work for people, we decided it was time to adopt a tagline that represents that success,” said Phil Swift, CEO and inventor of The Flex Seal Family of Products. “‘Because it Works’ lets consumers know they can count on The Flex Seal Family of Products to help give them the results they’re looking for.”

One product example is the company’s Flex Tape — a powerful adhesive with a thick, flexible rubberized backing that conforms to virtually any shape and surface, even underwater. The tape gets stronger with time and pressure and is UV-resistant, VOC-free, withstanding extreme temperature and weather conditions. It’s ideal to seal out air and water virtually anywhere, including for plumbing, roof, and home repairs, for vehicles, RVs, and boats, and more. It works on PVC, acrylic, metal, steel, copper, aluminum, wood, ceramic, porcelain, tile, glass, rubber, fiberglass, stucco, plaster, stone, cement, concrete, dry wall, and more.

Another product example is the Flex Seal Liquid, which can be brushed, rolled, dipped, or poured on. It seals out air, water, mositure, mildew, and chemicals for concrete, asphalt, weatherizing, foundation repairs, and more.

The Flex Seal Family of Products’ new tagline is featured in a new advertising campaign titled “Toolbox Hero,” which launched on July 14, 2022. The campaign highlights the expert fixers of the world who trust and rely on Flex Seal Products to repair and improve their homes. The advertisement explains what makes someone a Toolbox Hero, and is narrated by Flex Seal’s man on the can, Phil Swift. You can view it here.
