Auto Bolt receives IATF 16949 certification

By Michelle Froese | March 22, 2021

Auto Bolt is an American cold-heading bolt manufacturer with more than 70 years of experience in quality bolt-making. The company specializes in low-to-high volume, high-performance, and commercial fasteners for many industries including the automotive sector and many others.

Auto Bolt is now IATF 16949 certified, which ensures the development of a process-control, quality-management system and efficiency.

Auto Bolt recently announced that it has received the International Automotive Task Force’s certification, IATF 16949. The company manufactures fasteners for the automotive high-performance, aftermarket, and OEM markets with volume flexibility to ensure a streamlined supply chain. Auto Bolt provides PPAP/ISIR submissions to AIAG standards — and now IATF 16949.

To be IATF 16949 certified (which supersedes the previous technical specification, ISO/TS 16949) means the company has a proven focus on achieving the highest standards and following best practices for designing, developing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing automotive products and components.

This updated standard applies to process control and product traceability to ensure the highest quality and on-time delivery for parts and shipments.

Auto Bolt’s core values include:

  • Attitude (We’re all in)
  • Integrity (Do the right thing)
  • Service (Customer focused throughout)
  • Growth (We recognize and embrace growth because growth is critical)
  • Pride (Hold your head high)

Learn more about the company here, which is also.ISO 9001:2015 certified and onsite QA lab QSLM certified (Class 2 & 3).
