The team at Atlantic Bolt announced that it is joining the Threadline Products‘ business. The merger of the two family-owned companies, which are based in Charlotte, NC, will provide both with an even greater capacity to meet the needs of customers.
Founded in 1987, Atlantic Bolt is a wholesale distributor of construction fasteners and bolts, as well as standard and custom anchor bolts and support rods. It specializes in fasteners for the commercial construction and manufacturing industries.
Threadline is a fabricator of custom fasteners and components, including anchor bolts, double-end rods, u bolts, threaded rod, threaded rebar, and more. It launched in 1984 and currently serves customers in three main channels: construction distributors, steel fabricators, and the department of transportation.
The merger of the companies brings together teams with a combined 74 years of experience. The newly joined company is operating as Threadline Products, with nearly double the professional staff. It’s also doubled the capacity for manufacturing and warehousing finished products with the two company locations in Charlotte.
“The acquisition of Atlantic Bolt effectively doubles our production and warehousing capabilities and allows us to compete at greater scale,” said Josh Miller, VP of Threadline Products. “Both teams will benefit from the years of wisdom and performance at the two legacy companies, while our combined customer base stand the most to gain, as together we will be better able to meet their demands in a growing economy.”
