Accurate Manufactured Products Group (AMPG) recently received a nomination for the Indiana Manufacturers Association’s 2019 Manufacturing Excellence Awards.
“The Small-Tier Manufacturer of the Year is for a small-tier Indiana manufacturer or individual and serves to focus public attention on the important, positive, and tangible contributions they make to their employees, customers, and communities,” explained AMPG. “Small Tier is classified as encompassing manufacturing leaders of companies with less than 100 employees.”
AMPG is a family-owned business that’s specializes in manufacturing of a wide array of hard-to-find industrial components and specialty fasteners. The company has made many changes over the last 30 years but says its basic company philosophy remains the same.
Three ways AMPG strives to be better, include:
1. Philosophy and customer commitment. This means providing unparalleled customer service, producing precise parts, and keeping inventory levels high to ship at a moment’s notice.
2. Commitment to employees. One way AMPG is committed to making the workplace a healthier place is by offering educational seminars on nutrition and health topics each month.
3. Commitment to the community. AMPG collaborates with several organizations, such as: Noble of Indiana, Mickey’s Camp, the Indianapolis Fire Department, and Bethel School. The company makes a concerted effort to work with strategic partners within the city of Indianapolis and is dedicated to investing in Indianapolis by adding new jobs.
